Terms of Use
Last Updated: November 6, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of www.priblbaseball.com and the digital services, forms, content, and resources made available through this website by Puerto Rico Independent Baseball League and PRIBL Baseball, LLC (collectively, "PRIBL," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website or submitting information through its forms, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Participation in a baseball program is also subject to its applicable registration documents and agreements.
1. Purpose of the Website
The PRIBL website provides information about baseball leagues, development programs, events, schedules, player opportunities, registrations, recruiting, evaluations, partnerships, news, and related services.
Website information is provided for general informational and administrative purposes and may be updated when necessary.
2. Player Interest and Pre-Registration
The Puerto Rico Development Summer Baseball League (PRDSBL) uses an open enrollment model for eligible athletes. No tryout or invitation is required to begin pre-registration.
Submitting an interest form or pre-registration does not constitute acceptance, completed registration, or a reserved roster spot.
PRIBL may contact players, parents, or legal guardians to verify information, explain participation options, and communicate the steps required to complete registration.
Participation remains subject to eligibility, roster capacity, required documentation, applicable fees, and program requirements.
3. Registration and Roster Availability
Pre-registration is free and does not require a commitment to participate.
Submitting the pre-registration form does not reserve or guarantee a roster spot.
Roster capacity is limited. A spot is confirmed only when PRIBL expressly communicates confirmation after all applicable registration steps, agreements, and payment requirements have been satisfied.
PRIBL may establish deadlines for deposits, balances, documents, travel information, housing details, and other requirements.
Failure to meet an applicable deadline may affect roster or housing availability, subject to the applicable program terms.
4. Eligibility
The 2027 PRDSBL program is intended for current college players with remaining eligibility, incoming college freshmen, 2027 high school graduates, and rising seniors in the Class of 2028, subject to published eligibility requirements.
Participants must provide accurate information concerning age, graduation year, school or college status, athletic eligibility, and other requested details.
PRIBL may request documentation reasonably necessary to verify eligibility.
False, incomplete, or materially misleading information may result in cancellation of registration or removal from the program, subject to applicable law and program agreements.
5. Program-Specific Terms
These Terms of Use govern use of the PRIBL website but do not replace program-specific agreements.
Participation may be subject to separate registration terms, payment policies, refund and cancellation policies, participation agreements, waivers, releases, medical authorizations, insurance requirements, codes of conduct, housing rules, travel requirements, and media releases.
If an applicable program-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms concerning participation in that program, the program-specific agreement will control with respect to that issue.
6. Fees and Payments
Program prices, deposits, housing options, transportation charges, optional services, and other applicable fees will be communicated during the registration or purchasing process.
Participants are responsible for reviewing all charges and applicable payment conditions before making a payment.
Payments may be processed through independent third-party providers and may be subject to those providers' additional terms.
Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, payment does not guarantee playing time, recruiting exposure, a college scholarship, a professional contract, or any specific athletic outcome.
7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Credits
Cancellation, refund, transfer, and credit policies may vary depending on the program and participation package.
The applicable policy will be the policy presented or incorporated into the registration process, payment terms, acceptance materials, or participant agreement.
Participants should carefully review these conditions before submitting payment.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
8. Schedules, Locations, and Program Changes
PRIBL may publish program dates, competition schedules, game times, facilities, showcases, training sessions, postseason formats, staff assignments, and other operational information.
Changes may become necessary because of weather, field conditions, facility availability, safety concerns, transportation issues, emergencies, governmental action, staffing, or circumstances beyond PRIBL's reasonable control.
PRIBL reserves the right to make reasonably necessary operational adjustments, including modifications to schedules, facilities, competition formats, team assignments, housing, transportation, or other program arrangements.
Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate material changes when practicable.
9. Playing Time and Team Assignments
Unless a specific written agreement states otherwise, participation does not guarantee a particular amount of playing time, innings, plate appearances, pitching appearances, defensive position, lineup placement, or team assignment.
Coaches and PRIBL personnel may make competitive, developmental, medical, safety, workload, and operational decisions concerning player participation.
PRIBL may assign or reassign players when reasonably necessary for roster balance, safety, player development, or operational needs.
10. College Recruiting and Player Evaluation
PRIBL may provide opportunities for players to participate in evaluations, showcases, scouting activities, and development programs involving college coaches, recruiting personnel, scouts, and other baseball representatives.
Participation does not guarantee attendance by any particular scout or college representative, individual player evaluation, recruiting contact, scholarship, college roster opportunity, or professional contract.
Recruiting and placement decisions are made independently by colleges, universities, coaches, professional organizations, and other third parties.
PRIBL does not guarantee advancement to any particular level of baseball.
11. Player Statistics and Performance Information
PRIBL may record, maintain, display, publish, or distribute competition-related information, including rosters, schedules, scores, standings, statistics, game results, awards, photographs, video, and performance measurements.
Availability, accuracy, and completeness of statistics and technology-generated performance information cannot be guaranteed.
PRIBL may correct or update information when appropriate. Collection and disclosure of personal information remain subject to applicable law, privacy policies, and required consents.
12. Travel, Housing, and Transportation
Certain PRIBL programs may provide or coordinate housing, airport transportation, local transportation, meals, travel assistance, or related services.
Included services and any additional charges will be identified in the applicable participation package or registration materials.
Participants must comply with published arrival and departure instructions, transportation schedules, housing policies, and applicable operational requirements.
PRIBL is not responsible for matters controlled by independent airlines, transportation providers, government agencies, or other third parties, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Additional charges may apply to services requested outside the published program arrangements.
13. Player Conduct
Participants are expected to follow PRIBL standards, team rules, facility regulations, and applicable program policies.
Violence, threats, harassment, bullying, discrimination, theft, vandalism, illegal activity, serious misconduct, or behavior creating a material safety concern may result in disciplinary action.
Depending on the circumstances, action may include warnings, suspension, removal from activities, dismissal from housing, or removal from the program.
Additional requirements may be established in program-specific codes of conduct.
14. Athletic Risk
Baseball, conditioning, and athletic training involve inherent physical risks.
Potential risks include collisions, falls, being struck by a ball or bat, overuse injuries, muscle and joint injuries, heat-related conditions, and other injuries associated with athletic participation.
Participation may require separate waivers, releases, medical forms, emergency authorizations, and assumption-of-risk documents.
These website Terms of Use do not replace those documents or waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
15. Medical and Emergency Information
Participants may be required to provide accurate medical information, emergency contacts, insurance information, allergies, medications, and other safety-related details.
Participants and, where applicable, parents or legal guardians must provide updates required by program policies or participation agreements.
PRIBL coaches and personnel do not replace a participant's personal physician or licensed healthcare provider.
Any medical treatment authorization or emergency response arrangement will be governed by applicable program documents and law.
16. Minors
Participants under 18 may be required to obtain approval from a parent or legal guardian for registration, payments, waivers, medical authorizations, travel arrangements, housing documents, and other participation requirements.
A parent or legal guardian submitting information on behalf of a minor represents that they have the legal authority to do so.
Personal information collected online from children under 13 is subject to applicable legal protections, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act where applicable.
Additional information concerning data practices should be provided in the PRIBL Privacy Policy.
17. Photographs, Video, and Media
PRIBL programs and events may be photographed, recorded, streamed, or otherwise documented.
The use of a participant's name, image, likeness, voice, photographs, video, or related material may be governed by applicable media releases, participation agreements, registration terms, or other required consents.
These Terms of Use do not independently expand PRIBL's media rights beyond permissions established by applicable agreements and law.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the PRIBL website and its original content, including logos, trademarks, graphics, designs, photographs, videos, written content, and promotional materials, are owned by or licensed to PRIBL.
Website content may be accessed for personal, non-commercial informational purposes.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, commercial exploitation, or use of PRIBL intellectual property is prohibited except as permitted by law or written authorization.
Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
19. Acceptable Use
Users may not interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, submit fraudulent information, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property rights, engage in unlawful activity, or use unauthorized automated methods to extract website data.
PRIBL may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect its website, participants, systems, or other users.
20. Third-Party Services and Links
PRIBL may use independent third-party services for payment processing, communications, video, statistics, social media, transportation, housing, insurance, recruiting, or other purposes.
These services may have separate terms of use and privacy policies.
PRIBL does not control the independent operations, content, security, availability, or policies of third-party websites and services.
21. Website Information
PRIBL makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current website information.
Content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or technical inaccuracies.
PRIBL may correct, update, or remove website information when appropriate.
Where website information conflicts with an executed participant agreement, the applicable written agreement will govern the matters it addresses.
22. Website Availability
PRIBL does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website availability.
Access may be temporarily affected by maintenance, technical issues, security concerns, service provider interruptions, upgrades, or circumstances beyond PRIBL's control.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and general website content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
PRIBL disclaims warranties concerning the availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness of general website content for a particular purpose, except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in this section eliminates obligations expressly assumed in a separate written agreement.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PRIBL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from use of or inability to use the website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Claims involving athletic participation, payments, housing, transportation, or other program services may also be governed by applicable participant agreements, registration documents, waivers, releases, and other program-specific terms.
25. Privacy
Use of the website is also subject to the PRIBL Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy describes the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information, including information submitted through registration and pre-registration forms.
For more information, please review the Privacy Policy available through the website.
26. Applicable Law
These Terms of Use are governed by applicable laws of Puerto Rico and the United States, without limiting rights that cannot legally be waived under another applicable jurisdiction.
Separate participant, vendor, partnership, employment, or other agreements may contain their own governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions.
27. Changes to These Terms
PRIBL may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
Changes take effect when revised Terms are posted, unless a later effective date is specified.
The "Last Updated" date identifies the most recent revision.
Continued website use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
29. No Waiver
PRIBL's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or its right to enforce it later.
