Airport Transportation & Player Arrival Logistics

Transportation Overview

Players are responsible for booking their flight and completing the Player Travel Questionnaire.

PRIBL assists with coordinating transportation through trusted local providers. Transportation is not included in the program cost and must be paid for separately via the payment links below. Transportation must be reserved and paid for at least one week before the player’s scheduled arrival. Transportation requests made less than one week in advance are subject to availability and may not be accommodated.

👉 Players must complete all 3 steps to ensure proper pickup coordination.

✈️ Before Takeoff

Send a text message:

“My name is [Full Name]. I am on the plane, and my flight is on time.”

🛬 Upon Landing

Send a text message:

“My name is [Full Name]. Just landed.”

📍 At Meeting Point

Go to:

Column 8 – Arrivals Area (SJU Airport)
(In front of the rental car area)

Then send a text message:

“My name is [Full Name]. I am at the meeting point.”

📍 Meeting Point Instructions (San Juan Airport – SJU Only)

👉 This pickup location applies ONLY to players arriving at San Juan Airport (SJU).
👉 This is the designated and monitored pickup location for all players arriving at SJU.

All players must go to:

Column 8 – Arrivals Area (SJU Airport)
(In front of the rental car area)

Pickups take place outside the baggage claim area, in the arrivals pickup lanes (curbside).
Drivers will meet players directly at Column 8.

Arrival Coordination

Players will receive their assigned pickup time before travel.

Any flight delays, changes, or cancellations must be reported immediately via text message to:

Recommended Airports

Aguadilla (BQN) – 45 minutes to 1 hour
San Juan (SJU) – 2.0 to 2.5 hours

We recommend flying into BQN for the most convenient travel experience.

Transportation RATES

Transportation rates are determined by the player’s actual flight arrival time and required pickup time. Rates are paid directly to the transportation provider.

SJU — San Juan International Airport

$100 each way — pickups before 5:00 PM
$250 each way — pickups after 5:00 PM when the player requires private transportation because they are arriving after shuttle hours.

BQN — Rafael Hernández International Airport

$75 each way — pickups before 8:00 PM
$100 each way — pickups after 8:00 PM

Rates are estimated and may vary based on transportation provider availability and specific travel arrangements.

FLIGHT CHANGES

If a player changes their flight, the transportation rate will be recalculated based on the new arrival and pickup time.

The original transportation rate is not guaranteed after a flight change. If the new flight results in a higher transportation rate or requires private transportation, the player is responsible for paying the additional cost before transportation is provided.

Example: If a player originally schedules a pickup before the applicable cutoff time but then changes their flight to arrive after the cutoff, the higher applicable rate will apply.

Any additional transportation charges resulting from a flight change are the player’s responsibility.

Departure

Players will receive departure instructions before the end of the program. PRIBL assists with coordination to ensure a smooth, organized departure process.

Players Traveling with Parents

Players traveling to Puerto Rico with their parents or family members and arriving directly in Rincón should plan to arrive at the facility around 3:00 PM on check-in day.

This allows our staff enough time to:

Complete the check-in process
Review program policies
Assign housing (if applicable)
Answer any questions before activities begin

Players follow a structured arrival process with required real-time communication to ensure a safe and organized transition from the airport to housing. This system allows our team to monitor each player’s arrival and provide assistance when needed.
