WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the activities of PRIBL Baseball, LLC d/b/a Puerto Rico Collegiate Summer Baseball League and Puerto Rico High School Baseball League (collectively referred to as “PRIBL Baseball”) in any capacity—including, but not limited to, playing in league games or practices, tryouts, coaching, or being present on the field, in a dugout, or in a spectator area for any purpose—I fully understand and acknowledge that participation in the game of baseball involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death.

I hereby voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks of injury to myself, including but not limited to the risk of fatality, and do hereby unconditionally release, even in the case of their negligence, indemnify, and hold harmless the following parties:

• Carlos Núñez, in his individual capacity and as owner and representative of PRIBL Baseball, LLC;

• PRIBL Baseball, LLC d/b/a Puerto Rico Collegiate Summer Baseball League and Puerto Rico High School Baseball League;

• All members, officers, volunteers, game officials, and persons affiliated with PRIBL Baseball;

• All landowners and facility operators who sanction or grant permission for the use of facilities for play or practice;

• Any governmental agencies involved with PRIBL Baseball or the facilities at which games or practices may take place; and

• Any organization sponsoring teams competing within PRIBL Baseball is welcome.

This release applies to all claims, damages, or injuries of any kind, whether now existing or arising in the future.

I represent that I am physically fit to participate in the daily program activities. In the event of an emergency, I hereby authorize PRIBL Baseball staff to act on my behalf, including seeking medical attention, and I accept full financial responsibility for any related medical expenses.

I agree to abide by and obey all league rules established by PRIBL Baseball. I fully accept any suspensions or disciplinary actions imposed by PRIBL Baseball officials for any behavior that, in PRIBL Baseball’s sole discretion, warrants such action.

I further grant PRIBL Baseball and its agents the right to use my name, likeness, and image in photographs, video recordings, motion pictures, or other media for any reasonable purpose without compensation.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT. I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY AGREEING TO IT, AND I AGREE TO IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE, OR GUARANTEE. I INTEND MY AGREEMENT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

No Refund Policy Agreement

By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree that all payments, including deposits, are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. Registration fees are collected in advance to secure your participation and to cover a wide range of event-related expenses that PRIBL must commit to and pay for well before the program begins.

These advance costs include, but are not limited to:

• Housing and accommodations (including utilities, cleaning, and maintenance)

• Transportation logistics (buses, vans, fuel, and drivers)

• Stadium and facility rentals

• Staffing and coaching fees (professional coaches, support personnel, medical staff)

• Uniform and apparel orders (custom production with lead times)

• Insurance and administrative fees

• Game operations and officiating (umpires, scorers, field crews)

• Event permits and municipal fees

• Marketing, media, and live streaming services

• Prepaid meals or catering arrangements (if applicable)

This payment covers the opportunity to participate in a PRIBL Baseball camp or league. It does not guarantee or imply any future contract or offer with a professional or collegiate team after the event.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable and count toward the total program fee. Deposits secure your spot in the program and are used to cover early administrative, housing, and operational commitments. If a player cannot attend, deposits follow the same credit policy outlined below.

Credit Policy

If a player is unable to attend after registering, a credit for the following year will be issued.

• Credit Validity: Any credit issued must be used for a PRIBL program scheduled within the following calendar year after the original registration date.

• Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may only be applied to the same participant.

• Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or used by another individual.

Force Majeure

PRIBL Baseball shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations, including the cancellation, postponement, or modification of events, due to causes beyond its reasonable control. These causes include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters (such as hurricanes, earthquakes, or floods), pandemics, governmental restrictions, war, labor disputes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of a Force Majeure, PRIBL Baseball reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or issue a credit for future participation. No refunds will be issued.

Additional Protection

For additional peace of mind, participants are encouraged to purchase Refund Protection Insurance through Vertical Insurance (ViCoverage). This optional coverage helps protect your investment against unexpected events such as injuries, illnesses, inclement weather, traffic accidents, and other covered incidents.
