PRIBL NAMES RAMOS THE 2019 PLAYER OF THE YEAR

AGUADA, Puerto Rico – Dalvin Ramos were named the PRIBL Baseball Player of the Year. 

The award recognizes the top baseball performer from all PRIBL-sanctioned events in a given calendar year. PRIBL organization presents its individual awards every year at its annual executives’ meeting. 

“It is a tremendous honor to have an athlete like Dalvin in our program,” said PRIBL Baseball Executive Director and CEO Carlos Nunez. “To earn the title of baseball player of the year is a once-in-a-lifetime achievement, and it speaks volumes to the hard work and dedication that he has committed to the game of baseball in his young career.

Dalvin Ramos was named to the All-Stars game in the Puerto Rico AA League and earned the award for the best time in the 60-yard dash during the event. He led the Tiburones de Aguadilla in 8 offensive categories in 2019, including batting average (.354), hits (26), RBIs (11), total bases (28), slugging percentage (.886), and on-base percentage (.548), among others. He finished the tournament earning two additional individual awards, including the Most Valuable Player and the Rookie of the year in the Puerto Rico AA League Northeast Division.
